Adam Lambert has admitted it’s getting “tiresome” always being compared to Lady Gaga.

Last week, Lambert admitted it was a compliment to be referred to as the male version of the Poker Face singer – but thinks there are many more questions interviewers could ask that have nothing to do with Gaga at all.

“Just did my third German interview where I was told that I have said, ‘I’m the male Lady Gaga’. Lol. I would never say that. I’m Adam Lambert,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Of course I’m a fan and have the highest respect for her and there are some theatrical sensibilities that we share — but we are different people.”

He added: “The first question too many reporters ask has to do with Gaga. As much as I love her — it’s becoming tiresome. Would prefer to discuss my art. I’m sure she’d agree.”
