Taylor Swift loves to set goals for herself.

The Love Story singer believes life is what you make of it – and is quite sure she only got where she is today because of the goals she set for herself to make it happen.

“I love having a goal, feeling like I’m on a mission,” Swift told Marie Claire. “I love trying to beat what I’ve done so far.

“I knew that everything I wanted to happen could happen in Nashville. So it became my number one goal to get there somehow.”
