Heidi Montag says the reason she moved out of the home she shares with husband Spencer Pratt, is because she “needed space.”

The reality TV star claims there’s no specific reason for leaving Spencer, just that she needed to distance herself from all the “lies” surrounding her life – and that included her husband.

“There are so many lies out there about me and I just needed space – even away from my husband,” Heidi told People.

“I had to get away from the lies my family and supposed friends are saying about me. It’s time to concentrate on myself.”

The good news is, Montag certainly hasn’t ruled out reuniting with her husband – they just need to work on a few issues first.

“I’ve always loved Spencer,” added Heidi. “But right now we’re working on things.”

Yesterday, the Pastor who married Heidi and Spencer last year said he was praying for their marriage.
