JLS member Ortise Williams was in for a shock yesterday (April8th) when he bumped into his idol Stevie Wonder – just moments after he’d been singing his praises to the rest of the group.

The boyband were leaving their hotel to catch a flight to America when they happened to come across Wonder in the hotel lobby.

“Me and the boys are at breakfast and debating who’s the best solo male singer in the world,” Ortise wrote on JLS’s official blog.

“A few names were brought up, but I said for me it has to 100 per cent be the living legend himself Mr Stevie Wonder, I was insistent on it.

“Check this out! How MAAAAD is this? When we came out of breakfast, Stevie Wonder was sitting down in the lounge,” added Williams.

“I went over real nervous and said, ‘Stevie, man you don’t understand how you’ve inspired me’, he said, ‘all good brother, make sure you call me and stay in touch’.”

Ortise went on to add how he and Aston later went back over to Stevie Wonder to have their picture snapped with him.

“It’s not everyday you get to meet one of your heroes, but today I got to meet mine,” he added. “That’s what you call Magic!”
