Lady Gaga ruined her make-up before performing at the recent Grammys event, because she got too weepy.

If you tuned into the awards event on Sunday, you’ll have seen the eccentric fashion-conscious singer duetting with one of her idols on stage – Sir Elton John.

And it was a dream come true for the pop star, causing her to cry before the collaboration even took place – meaning she needed emergency make-up before they hit the stage together!

Gaga herself said: “I’m just so happy, I can’t say enough and Elton was so amazing and the performance was really truly magical.

“I had been fantasizing about this performance piece for a while and we got to do it… and I’m just really truly floored.” Said the Bad Romance singer.

“I ruined all of my make-up right before the show. Crying… I was just so happy.”
