Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father has defended himself after Lindsay and her mother accused him of lying and never paying child support.

Michael Lohan held a press conference yesterday (March30th) in which he said he would try and have Lindsay put into rehab.

Both Lindsay and her mother denied there was anything wrong with the actress, and in a Twitter message that was later deleted, Lindsay wrote: “Anyone else have a father that sells fake stories on them for money and dates a girl that works for tabloids? And has never paid child support? Don’t you think he’d learn after years of being in jail on and off?”

Now Michael Lohan has hit back at his daughter, insisting her claims are false – and threatening to make her “turn her life around” “involuntarily”.

“If you want to discuss child support, don’t even go there,” Michael said to Lindsay via X17 Online. “I gave your mother the house, 250-thousand dollars and I have a judgement for 125-thousand against her.

“She owes my partners over 400-thousand dollars…and I pay lots of money off the books including clothing, tuition for your brother Cody and sister Ali. I’ve never taken one red cent from you while other family members and people have. All I’ve done is try to help.

“I saw and spoke to you all the time with the exception of the last 21 months at which time you wrote a song, ‘Daughter to Father: Confessions of a Broken Heart‘. Read the words Lindsay. It says exactly the opposite of what you’re saying now.

“I love you and I want you turn your life around. If not, I’m gonna do all I can to make it happen involuntarily.”
