Nicole Richie is a busy lady – but she is finally ready to start planning her wedding to Joel Madden.

The TV star turned fashion designer is engaged to the Fall Out Boy rocker and they are thought to be getting married later this year.

Explaining why she has yet to plan how she wants her special day to go, Richie said: “I’ve been on the road.”

The 28-year-old added: “I just got home, and so it’s really going to be now that’s the time for me to sit down and think about what I want.”

Although it could be a while before they walk down the aisle… when TV host Ellen asked Nicole if they had even decided upon a wedding date, the mother-of-two replied: “Not yet, but soon.”
