Rihanna remembers one childhood memory that she wishes she could forget – watching her own father taking drugs.

Speaking about her childhood, the Barbadian singer revealed that her mom tried to shield her from his addiction to illegal substances.

“I just remember that made me know it was wrong,” Rihanna explained.

“It ruined their marriage,” she added about her parents’ relationship.

“She was like, ‘You’re either going to kick that drug habit and see your kids, or you’re not going to see your kids at all’.”
