When it comes to looking out for himself, Zac Efron finds it much easier to be doing something for someone else.

The Hollywood heart-throb says he is useless at keeping promises to himself – and that’s why he doesn’t make New Years resolutions.

“One of the reasons I don’t make resolutions is purely because I know I won’t stick to them,” Zac revealed. “Instead I make about 15 resolutions as I go and try to stick to them. That is working much better for me this year.”

But luckily for his friends, the same rule doesn’t apply when it comes to sticking to their promises.

“I can keep promises to other people — just not to myself,” added Zefron.
